Dr. Ashish Sangal

ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

Dr.  Ashish Sangal  MD, is board-certified physician by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Hematology, Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine, and served as an advisory board member of Rovicare. He is in practice for more than 15 years, working in different healthcare systems within the United States.

Dr. Sangal obtained extensive administrative experience by currently serving as the Chief of Medical Oncology and Medical Director of Lung Center at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Arizona. He has played a key role in developing and implementing multidisciplinary approaches to provide high-quality care for cancer patients. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Sangal has been actively involved as Principal Investigator in multiple nationally known clinical trials.

Dr. Sangal remains committed to continuous improvement in the field of medicine and has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals including World Journal of Clinical Oncology and American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. He has delivered presentations about his research work at various national and international conferences such as the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association of Clinical Research and World Conference of Lung Cancer.

Dr. Sangal currently holds faculty position as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Interdisciplinary Oncology, University of Arizona College of Medicine and also Assistant Professor in Midwestern University and Northern Arizona University. His entrepreneurial experience includes investment in multiple startup innovation projects in the health industry. He was instrumental as a Medial Director in successfully implementing and expanding outpatient clinics centers for Cancer Treatment Centers of America in the Phoenix Metro region in 2018.

Dr. Sangal earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Dr. M.G.R. University, India. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine followed by fellowship in Hematology and Oncology from Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where he was awarded “Intern of the year”. He also held positions including Chief Medical Resident and Chief Fellow.
